how to resize filesystem?

I found that the /var/log filesystem always grow over 95% within 3 days. How can i increase the /var/log filesystem?

    what is the size of the harddisk that you are using ?

    Resizing will not work, and ASLs installation routine does a full automatic space allocation based on percentages of the HD size.

    I am using a 10G HD. In my case, no http/smtp proxy is needed. Astaro automatically assigns a 3G filesystem for squid and 1G filesystem for qmail, but only 800mb for /var/log.
    Can I setup my own filesystem distribution during installation? I found the kernal log grow to 300mb within one day

    if the kernel log grows so fast, it's probably a lot of packet filter violations clogging up the log file.

    search the board on "broadcast" and on how to silently drop those. Should help  [:)]

    I understand your problem with the partition sizes, but we do not support user configurable sizes ... yet.
