Hi there

Just thought these features would be nice to have in ASL.

Interface to Arp so you can add delete arp entries.

Console on serial port for emergencies.

Interface to IP aliasing.

Maybe a section that can show syslogs, maillogs and squid logs etc...

Could you flick the MRTG graphics around, so that it displays from left to right  [:)]

The cgi looks huge, is it possible to break it down into smaller cgis?

A bit more colour 

Finally, what version of linux are you putting in your next release?

    Hi Emma and others...

    a) It should be possible to put agetty on the box. I have put minicom on the box, and intend to have two of my UNIX boxes linked through serial port so that in an emergency I can go either way...

    and whilst we are at it, having LILO being able to run over the serial port would be great... My ideal would be to be able to get my mother to rebuild my firewall over the phone from the other side of the world... [This sort of happened when my computer room flooded when I was in the USA :-) ]

    [Hey, I know this can be a problem, but only being able to reconfigure a router through serial through this box is a great security feature. Even if they get in, they will still not know how to configure the thing..]

    b) The MRTG can be swapped by hand...

    c) My *BIG* one is an optional link menu that pulls up an open-source CGI so that we can plug other stuff into the menu - link my PPP dialup, SNORT reporting and the like... It just needs to be something like add a left side menu when a certain file exists...

    Hi all,

    we (gert and tom) are working on a generic API for the WebAdmin, so anybody can plugin his own (perl) code.
    Lets discuss this on the hackers forum.
