how to put files on ASL machine

Hi all,

I would like to get ASL connected to my ADSL connection wich is made through pptp connection to the ADSL router.
 
I found the new compiled (UNSUPORTED) kernel, and would like to put it on the box.
But how?? 
Connections get refused by ftp, can't mount /etc/fd0 (fs not supported) 

I would really appreciate some directions on how to do it.
