it would be funny to have an Option for sending a scheduled ETRN to an extern MX, we have some customers with static IP but without call back ( connectet via dial up), in the moment I´ve opened SMTP for the outgoing request.

    hi,

    nice idea, i'll keep that in mind. for the moment, you could work around it if you also use the external MX as smarthost, and send a mail to a bogus mailbox every 30 minutes or so
