multiple ips on one net device?

Is it possible to configure multiple ips on the same net device? for example:
eth0     --> 192.168.10.252
eth0:1   --> 192.168.10.253
eth0:2   --> 192.168.10.254

If yes, how? I could not find the ip configuration in something like rc.config.
