FReezing problem

We have been trying for a week or so to get astaro from freezing:
first case was p3 866 512 registered ram ,asus cusl2-c ,2 smc nic 9432tx cards,jaton agp vidio after loading the box it freezes.we have tried every combo from one mod of ram to single sided ram

we then switched to a p3 866, asus cuv4x-e with the same combo and  also a ati 8mb vidio card
please forward any info since we have to have these boxes 4 of them loaded by this monday or tues thanks

ok first of all, what do you mean with "freeze" ? Kernel Panic ? What do you see onscreen ? Where does it stop ?

We need some more info to be of help

The box will freeze at the login prompt , it will just lock with no keyboard support.

ok, now does that mean that only the KB does not work or is it really FUBAR ?

can you try to log on to the WebAdmin via /">https:/// and switch on the SSH console in System->Settings ?

If that still works, it's a KB issue, else we need to find out what else could freeze it. [:)]

we are using smc 9432tx cards is anyone else using these cards? are they supported?
