I dont know if ASL is what Im looking for? What I want is a software router for my network I have a ADSL connection and I have a machine with two nics, one to the ADSL and one to the network. What I want is that the server machne should secure the connection and share it for the rest of the network.
That can ASL do if I have got it right.

BUT!!! I also want to run an web/ftp/print/file server. The file server part isnt that impotant but I would like to have a web/ftp and print server on the same machine. Is it possible?

    hi Magnus,

    if you have a fixed IP address on your ADSL ethernet side, you can use ASL for your firewalling and NAT purposes.

    However, providing HTTP and FTP services for outside networks is not in the scope of a firewall, so we do not support this without heavy modifications.

    Depending on your exact security needs, you may be better off with a standard linux distribution like RedHat.
