Hi there,
we have tried to upgrade our ASL1.708 system to 1.793 by starting Up2Date manually from the web interface. We encountered two problems:
(i) the partition for the incoming updates was full:
/dev/hdaX 57M 57M 0 100% /var/recovery
(ii) the gpg key for the updates expired
Stating this information the automatic Up2Date rolled back to 1.708 (as stated in /etc/version).
This leads to two questions:
(a) can we restart the update process manually without downloading all the 1.7XX.tar.gpg files again?
(b) is there a cleanup process removing applied updates? we have still two updates (1.706 and 1.707) cluttered in the /var/recovery/incoming directory. can one remove savely the old .tar.gpg or .tar files and the corresponding directories?
(c) how can we obtain a newer gpg key since we suspect from the output that the update was primarily rejected because of the expired key?
Thanks in advance.
