multilik load balancing

i have very unusual question.
Two T-1 links conecteted to ASL via to network card. third card is serving local network...
Is it possible to make ASL to joint those to T-1 connection into one better (faster) stream -multilink them.
In that way even owners of two cable modems would be able to increase overal bandwidth. ALL what has to be done is implementing round robbin tcp proxy which is should check availability and load on each T-1 connection and dynamicaly change default gateway for the box. i know similar solutions ("balance", SNProuted - both are on freshmeat). I thought that if ASL already got transparent proxying it wouldn't be too hard to integrate their round robbin load balancing in additon.
please let me know if could try out some ideas right know.

    thx for the hints, but we cant use SNMrouted, because it will destroy our connection tracking. 
    But "balance" sounds interesting, i will test it (if i have some spare time  [;)]

    Yes !! I would also like to see "load balancing" or "Link teaming" on two or more connections (ADSL, PPP etc). Though I think ASL is a great product I cant use it because of the lack of this specific feature. I don´t think MultiLink is feasible as it depends on ISPs offering the service - the majority don´t. 

    If anyone knows of any workaround....please share it with us.
