More than 3 interfaces

Suggested new features:

1. Arbritary number of interfaces (2 or more)

2. Sub interface configuration (ie - assign additional IPs to loopback sub interfaces or the dummy interface).

3. DHCP support (ie - broadband)

1. Your limit is the hardware. For example
   in our testlap we have a system running
   24 ethernet devices.

2. Sub interface configuration is coming,
   but I can't tell you an exact date.

3. Also promised in other posting, dhcp
   will definitively come in Q1/2001.

A blast from the past!

Just for fun, I looked at several of the oldest threads here. The first was started on 24 Nov 2000. I responded to this one because it demonstrates how much progress has been made and how much the world has changed around it.
