asg 220 license

hi i just bought a NSA1080L-ASG-220 i did the factory reset from the reset screen but now it asking me for a License file where can i find that ?

ASG220 Hardware and the Software V7 are EOL since years ...
I think it is not possible to get a running licence.
You may try to install Sophos SG as "software edition" with current version and use the corresponding licence.

i don't have any vga output so i try to connect to serial and get a output of boot but nothing

bad ... you need the VGA output for the installation process.

Salut Benjamin and welcome to the UTM Community!

Are you saying that the VGA port on the back of the 220 is not working?

You can run the latest UTM version on an old 220. If this is for home use, you will want to get a free home-use license at Account registration.

You don't need to load the software version. You will want to use the trick in ASG 425 Display with home license to change the file that identifies your 220 as an appliance instead of a plain computer. Without this step, the 220 will refuse to load the license file.

Well, then try Set up a serial connection with a console cable.
