Licensing for HA setup

Hi everyone, I am new to this forum, I am going to deploy Sophos UTM 9 to 2 sites.  here goes my questions

 

How many Sophos UTM license do I need to purchase if 

  1. I opt to have a warm/warm setup (both site gets traffic all the time), 
  2. I opt to have a warm/cold setup (the cold site only gets traffic when the warm site is down)

    with active/active HA you need all licences/subscriptions two times.

    with active/standby HA you need licences once.

    but consider ... with active/active only one device gets the packets/traffic and delegates some of them to second node.

    you do not double the performance.

    so mostly we suggest to use active/standby HA ... possible with the next bigger device.

    the takeover-time is the same with active/standby HA as active/active.

    So in a active/standby HA setup, suppose the switching happens automatically when the active site becomes inaccessible, how do I automatically update the license so that the newly activated node gets the license?
