User portal bad request

Hello,

 

I'm trying to use the user portal to get the vpn configuration. But when trying to connect I always get bad request (error code 400).

 

The user portal is enabled in the webadmin. I'm not seeing anything on the firewall and/or web filtering.

    Welcome to the Sophos Community!

    I would check the SSL VPN settings and see the Port number and Protocol type and make sure that it does not conflict with the Default user Portal (TCP Port443). Once you've set both properly, it should work fine.

  • Hmm, sounds like a routing problem.  Like you're in the LAN but are reaching the User Portal on the External interface.  Try going to it using the IP of the Internal interface.

    I agree with Jaydeep about using different ports.  I prefer to set the User Portal to use 2443 and the SSL VPN to use UDP 1443.  Outside North America, UDP is blocked, so if you're traveling to Europe, you'll want to configure the SSL VPN to use TCP 1443.
