Reset Webadmin Password from Console

Hi together,

 

i tried the following Link to reset the Webadmin Password.

community.sophos.com/.../115346

 

It seems that all commands are working, because i got as result 1 for the system_password_reset.

But the Webadmin don´t ask me to set up a new password.

It shows only the normal login screen.

 

Anyone has an idea?

 

It would be great if someone could help me.

    Hallo Lukas and welcome to the UTM Community!

    When all that's needed is to reset the password for the admin account in order to access WebAdmin, I prefer to use

    cc passwd Pa$$W0rd

    Choose your own password instead of my example Pa$$W0rd.
