how to activate VLAN that is configured in the core switch and pass through to the SOPHOS.

We have a core switch and a VLAN was configured there and the core switch is configure to the sophos,

but i think the sophos is blocking the VLAN that is configured to the core switch

I need a help on how to activate or unblock the VLAN on the sophos so that the VLAN can be used.

The switch port must be configured as access port. UTM will act as device not trunk. But you can do your tests about it and maybe define the VLAN on the UTM interface, connected to the switch

You mean I have to create new VLAN interface on the UTM interface/rounting? and connect it from switch to the port configured as VLAN interface in the UTM?

Maybe for testing purposes, but i said that will be sufficient that configuring the port in the switch in access mode. VLAN ip range must be the same as UTM ip Range.
If you have more than a VLAN, than you have to configure them in UTM and make firewall rules to allow traffic from VLAN to VLAN.

Maybe a picture of your topology will help.
