[8.940][ANSWERED] No AP5 in Access Point List

I don't know where the failure is. But it works now.... After I configured the second AP5 - the first AP5 works now too.

1) No, i configred the RED manually. DHCP and DNS i configured too.
2) The RED is in standard mode.
3) I configured the Wireless Global Interface to use the RED NIC.
4) in the RED log was only the standard Ping/Pong nothing more...

Today I tried AP5 with a RED rev2.

- Manual mode
- Added RED interface
- DHCP Server for that interface, DNS
- RED is connecting correctly
- RED-Interface added to Wireless Interfaces

Then Plugging in the AP5, nothing happens. 
There is no special entry in RED or wireless log.
Only red log shows the repeating ping pong messages.

Is there anything I forgot?

Are you using fullbridge mode? Try standard mode please.

Operation mode: Standard / Split

My Testlab:

Internal 192.168.1.0/24
|
UTMv9
|
WAN 192.168.254.0/24
|
RED in WAN-Network, connecting to UTMv9 WAN Interface by IP

Split Network 192.168.1.0/24
Default Gateway is another Device in network 192.168.254.0

Logically network should be fine I think.

Looks good though, could you please check if the RED/AP5 requests an IP via DHCP ovber the RED tunnel interface on the ASG?

Okay I deleted all configuration for that RED and used the deployment helper. Everything is fine now. DHCP did not work in RED net ... 

I will try it tomorrow again manually - Just to figure out if it was my fault or if there is any other problem. I will report my result.

Okay there was something really messed up with the UTM ... After some reboots my manual configuration worked fine and AP5 appeared in Wireless devices.
