[8.900][ANSWERED] Hotspot with permanent password

While playing around with the new hotspot feature I have 2 questions:

1. I didn't find a way to create a hotspot with a single permanent password. This could be a nice feature if you want to create a protected guest network without the overhead of creating vouchers. Some guests are not able to connect to (WPA-)protected WLANs due to security restrictions on their laptops. So the guest WLAN must be unencrypted.
With a single permanent password you can just tell them the "well-known" secret and they get a connection.

2. If I select Hotspot type "Password of the day" I can set the Password creation time to "never". What does that mean? I need a password that is never created?

    The hotspot type "password of the day" is a particular use case for Internet cafes where the password should change periodically (once per day). Therefore, the option "password creation time" is well chosen, as it defines the time when the password will be generated and sent. The setting "never" simply means that the password will not be changed once set, in case you simply want to change it manually in the end user portal.

    So for your particular use case, there are two ways to configure it:

    1. Password-of-the-day hotspot type / password creation time set to "never" -> create password in end user portal manually
    2. Voucher hotspot type / max. devices set to "unlimited" / voucher definition "validity period" set to e.g. 365 days
