[8.900][BUG] Hotspot works only on www and only with deactivated Proxy

Hi there,

was trying hotspot functionality and found the following:

1.) It only works if i disable the HTTP Proxy for the Network specified in the Hotspot setting,
which maybe is not that nice if i wan't to scan the traffic for virus or unallowed webpages.

2.) it seemt that the hotspot is only stoping http traffic. Even if i have not entered a vouchercode i'm able to make SSH or other services. Is there something wrong in my configuration, is it a BUG or does it work as designed?

    Hi,

    same problem of Robert.
    Hotspot don't work with transparent proxy....even if you disable the proxy functionality and enable rules for web surfing!
    Once you have configured the transparent proxy for a network that it is also defined on the hotspot interfaces, the hotspot stops to work.
    In order to restore the hotspot you have to remove/change the network defined on the "Allowed Networks" on the "Global web filtering settings"....why?
