[8.980][ANSWERED]How to stop IPv6 from being NAT'ed

Currently my network has a native IPv6 connection.
If I turn MASQ off , the IPv6 still works, good, but IPv4 doesn't, bad.

If I have MASQ on the IPv6 addresses for the internal devices all go out on the same IPv6 address which is the external IPv6 address.

How do I provide IPv4 nat'ing and omit IPv6?

    If the sixxs subnet information is missing there is probably a bug within the aiccu daemon
    or the aiccu script.

    Can you edit "/usr/local/bin/ipv6-aiccu-updown" and insert something like the following in the head of the file "set >> /tmp/broker_debug" and restart the service with "/var/mdw/scripts/ipv6-aiccu restart" and grep for PREFIX?

    What about your problem with your native setup, any news? You have your broker disabled while native IPv6 is enabled?

    The IPv6 tunnel broker has been disabled for sometime now.

    I tried the ISP with the native IPv6 service as the only link, I couldn't get ti to work. I tried with the modem, couldn't get that work.

    At the moment I don't have the modem that does iPv6 a neighbor borrowed to test his dying ADSL service.

    I am getting over my head with the IPv6 issue, there are lot of things I don't understand about the way IPv6 works.

    I will try the sixxs debug shortly and talk to the IPv6 ISP.

    I will let you know the results.

    The following is from the ISP's FAQ


    Once enabled, customers are presented with a dual-stack configuration  (each login has an IPv4 and an IPv6 address), so customers have native  access to both the IPv4 and IPv6 Internet.
     All customers receive a  static /56 IPv6 prefix via DHCPv6 Prefix Delegation

    Hi,
    more information about the debugging of the sixxs tunnel. The sixxs site showed my tunnel as having been up for many days, where as the debug showed the state as being down.

    I changed the tunnel name from starting with a "t" to starting with a "T" and toggled the tunnel and now the sixxs subnet is displayed.

    One problem solved, this is good.
