[8.970][MYTH] PPPoE does not recognise my username

I have built a UTM from the current ISO. I have configured the interface to be PPPoE, the service is assigned an IPv4 address, but the link is in error. The PPPoE logs shows the username to be incorrect, yet the same user name and password works correctly in 2 different types of modem/routers.

The UTM has 2 interfaces, no fail over to USB, This is completely fresh configuration.

    We had an earth quake last night, large by our scales and it must have re-aligned all the particles and ions in the UTM, because for the first time since I was assigned the username it has worked on a UTM for more than 30 minutes.


    Next challenge is to work out why the IPv6 stuff doesn't work correctly on either UTM.

    Please close this molecular mal-aligned thread.
