[8.970][CLOSED] FreeDNS - No selection which IP should be used & not working

Hi sliss,

FreeDNS always uses the first public IP on the default route, so the dropdown is missing on purpose. Please check your config again and see if anything related to your DynDNS service pops up in the /var/log/fallback.log or the /var/log/system.log.

I found this in System.log :

And this when creating a new FreeDNS entry:

2012:06:15-12:12:22 ***-1 ddclient[20134]: WARNING:   Wait at least 5 minutes between update attempts.

Waiting didn't work :-)

as I already stated, please check out your interface configuration. This is the most common place were the issue may be located.

I wrote you an pm regarding my installation.

DynDNS updating is working correctly with the first public IP on gateway route. FreeDNS does not work, still error stated above.
