After 2 months, no new snort rules?

On pfSense i have,... can you explain, please? How secure is, with out ubdate IPS?

Hi Simby,
on checking my UTM I find there hasn't been an update of any kind for at least 2 days.
The messages in the logfile

id="3701" severity="Info" sys="System" sub="up2date" name="Authentication successful"
Starting Update package downloader
patch update possible

for the last 2 days.

When I check the IPS is still a 12,206-known rules, and has not changed fro the 1st astaro/sophos relase 9.

Mine started updating at about 2300 last night for the first time in a couple of days, but no IPS pattern updates.
