[8.951][MYTH] Active / Active cluster, one node is working, the other..... sleeps

Hi,

The subject says it all.

I created a cluster, in active / active mode. One of my nodes is working very hard, the other node, seems to do nothing.

This is my first cluster that I created with Astaro, so I don't know if this is expect or unexpected behavior.

Well, looks like you try to run an asymmetrical setup, which is not recommended. Your second node has only one gig of RAM which is way below the recommended 2 gigs. You should always run a cluster with identical hardware and add an additional amount of RAM for the synchronization process, otherwise you'll have lot of surprises... ;-)

Indeed. I will upgrade the ram to an equal amount of 2 GB on both nodes.
However, I don't really think that this is the problem.

What is it that generates the load at one of the two nodes?

Hi,

This is a high upload between one server and and external resource over SSH.

Question: I have an other problem, I rebooted one of the 2 cluster nodes, and the node is waiting for STP.... and this for 10 hours.... I know what STP is, and I know what is does, what I don't know is why Astaro keeps waiting for it to finish.

Rebooting the node doesn't solve the problem.
