[8.951][ANSWERED] HTML Portal -RDP why are sessions shared

Hi,
not sure if this behavior desired, a bug or a misunderstanding.

I setup the HTML 5 VPN portal for RDP use.User1 opens an RDP session. If now a second session will be initiated ( with the same credentials, but different client ip and browser) the RDP screen is beeing shared between both users.
The Share session below HTML 5VPN Portal|Advanced is unticked .

So the question are now:
What does this feature should do?
How can I prevent logging twice with the same account ( assuming that local database is being used).

    Hi Ciscoman, 

    The primary use case for the HTML5 VPN is the requirement to give 3rd party persons restricted access to internal resources for maintenance.
    In such an environment it is not practical to force them to use a VPN client and it might not be desirable, a with full network access it is easier to upload viruses and extract data.

    Therefore a KVM (keyboard video mouse) based access in better.

    The shared screen/session is actually a feature where the admin can review what kind of maintenance tasks the 3rd party vendor is doing. A recording of such session is planned, yes was not doable within the 9.0 timeframe.

    If you want to have separate sessions, you just need to clone the resource with the same settings and you get separate sessions for the different users,

    The solution is not designed to be the mass scale sl VPN cluster that every user uses daily to access the terminal serve farm in the backend. There are better solutions out there for this task.

    A secondary use case is the one where the admin can setup all his systems the and can have full access to all of them on the road.

    The solution is not designed to be the mass scale sl VPN cluster that every user uses daily to access the terminal serve farm in the backend. There are better solutions out there for this task.
