[8.940][BUG] Intermediate CA not sent

As already communicated for a previous version (CA not sent) the webadmin and user portal do not send the intermediate CAs of the SSL certificate, while the reverse proxy does it. They are all apache based, and I guess they could use the same logic.
Last update in previous post was that CaseID 00165021 has been created (thanks BAlfson). What is the status of the case? Is this missing by purpose?

    Our support guys had a typo in the linked Mantis ID, but I was able to find the correct one and already talked to a developer. They'll have a look at this issue in the next 1-2 weeks and see whether they can port the code that has been written for the reverse proxy to the webadmin/userportal.
