[8.940][BUG] Unable to determine user's group via LDAP with MacOS X Server

I'm not sure if this would be a feature request or a bug but since I have a pretty extensive case from version 8.*** on this I'm hoping it's a bug that can be fixed before version 9 ships.

User authentication works against the Mac Server with the exception of finding groups due to the Mac OSx server not replying back with the attribute memberOf within the LDAP query.

When not limiting the backend membership everything works, when you limit it down to a backend group it auths properly but does not find the group.

If there's any information you need ask and I'll get it to you [:)] except for access to the customer's Mac Server as that's a production server at a school.

    Yup, [:)] if I could I'd tell the school to get rid of their Macs or at the VERY least setup a golden triangle configuration and authenticate against the windows servers but they're not having any of that.

    Also you can verify it's not seeing the proper groups by using the test user account.

    If you have access to the old ticket system, the original ticket number on this is 2009081910000611
