[8.940][ANSWERED] RED Management

Hello

I trying to install RED with some 3G modem in particular the model HUAWEI E173 but I don't found any option or info about if the 3G modem is reconized by RED device or not.

I think so that the RED Management should be have one button (f.e Test 3G modem) to test all 3G modem conections and all info about this devices should be appairs in the RED live log for support purpose.

For example, my RED with the 3G connected fail in the Router blink but I can't know if this is this issue is a 3G modem don't reconized or is a 3G internet troubble.. nothing!!

Or exist some tool to test the 3G modem connectivity when this is attached to the RED?

Hi innovare,
let me conclude: your system led is glowing red and router led is blinking. Does the RED reboot after a while??
Basically the red system led shows me, that your RED is in fallback mode. (your UMTS stick should glow/blink). The blinking router led may be caused by incorrect provider information. Please make sure you entered the correct PIN and APN. (make sure the correct username/password and dial string are entered if required by your provider).
