[8.930][ANSWERED] How to delete emails from spool

Hi ALL

I ended up with 25000 on my spool as I left my relay set to any (yeah I know [:P]..I forgot it open as I was testing snmp bugs)

I've deleted all the spam via cd var/chroot-smtp/spool/output/0/input and
cd var/chroot-smtp/spool/output/0/msglog

but the spool still shows that I have all that email

I've also restart the snmp server

    Wingman,

    Never ever delete the mail spool by hand using shell commands. This will confuse the SMTP proxy. The right way to do this is using the Mail Manager. There you can find a button to delete all mails below the mail listing.

    I've tried to remove it via mail manager was was unresponsive as the CPU was 100 for quite a while.

    I wouldn't normally perform this via CLI but it was the only choice.My smtp log has Page 1 of 5879 with 117575 emails (If I select all filters) and every time I was trying to perform an action (via mail manager) Chrome crashes!


    so CLI was the only way. I 've set the database log set to 1 day in order to "clean" the log and start over [:D]
