VNC to mac failed.

setup automatic login or manual login does the same thing.

the screen shows for a second then goes black.

This sounds familiar. Do you have SSL VPN enabled somewhere?

AFAIK the SSL VPN steps in before checking for the user. I'll treat this thread as a DUPE. Let's track this issue in the other thread.
