[8.910][BUG] Strange characters in endpoint security

I just enabled endpoint security for the first time and I believe where the location is supposed to go, I have some ascii characters. Tested on chrome 17.0.963.79 win7.

I've noticed the same issue as well as error on the endpoint

it seems that once I've updated to the latest version, the endpoint was offline and I got quite a few errors. Once I manually updated then the service became available
