I was using "Establish VPN connection on demand" for my ipsec clients and it seems that the backup restored on 8.900 didn't have the entries for the VPN connection anymore
after you've fixed your WiFi problem, I'd like you to check if this is still happening when restoring a backup to a fresh install of 8.910.
