[8.900][MYTH] 8.900 Restore strange results

This is the results of a system restore after a system rebuild using the ASG iso.
I had a working system 8.900 (this system was upgraded from a working 8.301 to 8.900).
I had the Astaro Endpoint configured and also the Wireless Hotspot configured.
I decided to change the HDD raid configuration.
After the Installation of the ASG 8.900 iso
At the Basic wizard or restore backup.
I copied the latest 8.900 backup to the system.
When I logged into the system I noticed that the Endpoint Menu option  and that the Hotspot was missing. Also that the system stated that it was version 8.300.
I did version from the console and it reported the same.

    Here is the explaination of how I got here.

    The Intel Server board has built on Adaptec SCSI controllers. These controllers are not picked up during the install process. 

    After a day of trying all sorts of options to build ASG onto a Raid0 config I gave up. (I had 8.900 previously working).

    The final build I have configured Raid 1 across 2 drives and install ASG 8.900 on the first drive that the installer sees. The ASG came up and I loaded the 8.900 backup. Due to spending most of the day reconfiguring the Raid drives (Deleting, Creating, Rebuilding, etc) I did not think that any 8.300 that was on a Raid set would have survived let alone be bootable.

    So that is the only reason that I can come up with.

    I just rebuilt again with the 8.900 iso and it has the white flash on the left on console and version comes up correct.

    I really wish the installer would support adaptec raid cards.
