[8.900][BUG] Webproxy takes 99% to 180% CPU

I wonder if you have a broken PostgreSQL table - is there anything in the System Messages or Selfmonitoring log?

I had high loads on one of my boxes at work with 8.3 where proxy uses 100+ CPU but that's only under heavy load. Are you pushing your box for any reason or is it idling with high proxy load?

Edit: looks like you don't even have local content database enabled. Did you do a proxy restart just for fun to see if the problem returns?

yep, i restarted the proxy and had again 100% load [:(]

On my test system I found out that the 100% cpu load is related to the SSL scanning enabled. But I seems to depend on the browser type.

When I use Firefox as browser there is no issue. But when I use IE8/IE9 the load increases to 100%. But not all HTTPS sites trigger that issue. It seems to depend on the SSL certificate sometimes.

Could somebody perhaps verify if you can open/download the eicar testfiles using https? When I try it the cpu load of the httpproxy goes to 100% and the site hangs.
