[8.900][BUG] unable to install Hyper-V

the first error i get at boot is about 
drivers/rtc/hctosys.c: unable to open rtc device (rtc0)

then when i proceed with install it does not find any network adapters.  I am using the standard adapters and not the legacy ones.

hyper-v host:
hyper-v host 4 x 2.4 ghz 10 gigs ddr3 ecc 2x1tb in raid 1 and 2x500 gig in raid 1.  I do have acc, server 2008 r2 ent and astaro 8.3 as vm's on this machine.  interfaces are 1 broadcom and two intel gigabit.

    Well correction: I'm able to get to webadmin but when I'm at the dashboard I see eth1 (what happened to eth0?) unused and under "interfaces" there is just nothing. So I can't configure the thing. The wizard doesn't work either because it tells me it can't change the IP address of the interface I'm connected with. I guess that's missleading and actually it just can't find the propper interface.
    I'm stopping here and will dig out some old hardware to test on.
