[8.900][CLOSED] SSL VPN Client still needs administrative rights

After installing the new SSL VPN client (of course I removed the old one before from my WIn7 64bit system), it seems we still need to have adminitrative rights for setting the routes.

in the "Windows services" overview the following is shown:

"openvpn interactive service"  - NOT started  -  Startup-type:  automatically 
OpenVPN service : IS started - type: manually started

when I try to manually start the "interactive service", windows tells me:
"the service was started and then automatiocally stopped again".

COult this be the issue?

    I just successfully connected using my 64 bit Windows 7. I think this has to do with your previous service configuration. Did you have "OpenVPN Service" start automatically in the previous SSL VPN client version installed?

    Could you try if this works for you:

      1) Stop the "OpenVPN Service" and set the startup type to "manual" or "disabled"
      2) Start the "OpenVPN Interactive Service"
      3) Try to connect. The log should say: "Route addition via service succeeded"

    I think the crash has to do with the two services running in parallel, which doesn't make sense and should be prevented anyway.
