[8.940][ANSWERED] Disable Tamper protection

Hi All

I've created a policy to disable the tamper protection on my endpoint client. I can see from the logs that the protection has stopped. However I still can't configure the "tamper protection" (it's grayed out unless I enter the password). Is that the intended behavior?

Hi wingman,

Yes, that's the intended behavior. When you disable tamper protection, we still send the password. This translates to the fact, that the user can change settings related to the AV, but not to tamper protection.
