[8.910][MYTH] Does not remove Microsoft Security Essentials

The Deploy agent failed to uninstall Microsoft Security Essentials.

It removed the uninstall entry in the "Add / Removal Programs" Control Panel.

However, MSE was still installed and operational.

*** EDIT - windows version was Windows 7 Ultimate

Did you reboot the endpoint? my MSE were uninstalled after a reboot.

No I did not reboot.

Just rebooted and yes it was uninstalled. Did not think a reboot was necessary. Thank you.

Perhaps the Agent install should end with either a restart or simply state restart necessary and ask if now / later.
