[8.910][DUPE] Feature for Endpoint Security

In large enviroments it is not possible to do the installation on the way it is now implemented in UTM 9.

Reason:
Every clients needs to contact the internet to get all the neccesary files.
this means that if you have about 100+ computers that you are installing every computer is downloading about 100mb each from the internet, this means a lot of traffic and it slows down the installation process and the internet.

Solution1:
Build in Update server for internal networks.

Solution2:
Use the Sophos Update Manager (installed on a windows system) for internal clients and add the option to set an secondary update server in the configuration of the UTM v9.

All the things explained over there is about the proxy and the use of it.

What i was talking about is that i don't want all the system going to the internet but getting the update from either an Update server running on the ASG or an Update server running somewhere local.

I also hope this idea is implemented.

I have a bunch of hyper-v guests that I do not allow internet access to. I run Microsoft Security Essentials and get definition updates through a Windows WSUS server.

Use of a central repository on the ASG for Endpoint Protection defnition updates is the logical way for it to work. Even though I use it at home, there must be business customers using ASG who want AV updates on machines that rarely (if ever) connect to the internet.

Further, Endpoint Protection with central repository definition updates could be a selling feature for ASG as their business customers who use ASG could save the cost of 3rd party AV.
