[8.900][ANSWERED] Sophos Endpoint is not using the proxy for ***.broker.sophos.com

But, does your proxy configuration have https scanning ticked?

My bad as I totally forgot to enable this. However it seems that during the update process the are still connections that go to port 80 and are via the pf instead of the proxy

For example after the initial connection to the broker.sophos.com (during the download) it gets the files from (in my case ) using port 80

Hi Wingman,
doesn't make any difference whether you enable https scanning or not, the default web proxy exception has it bypassing https scanning.

Would pay you to have a look the proxy exception list.

ok had a better look and you are right. The exception has it to bypass HTTPS scanning

The problem is that the program itself( sophos endpoint) doesn't have an option to use proxy if needed and therefore whilst updating it it won't use the proxy (I have standard mode in the proxy )
