[9.305-4][BUG]DHCP daemon fails

Hi,
I have been receiving this message for awhile, every time I access the dhcp server. I can't find any entires in the logs indicating why the daemon stops.

DHCP daemon not running - restarted.

Hi Ian,
I don't see that issue on our systems.

Can you have a look into the fallback.log?
How often do you get this message? Is the deamon just not working (stopped) or do you see coredumps?

sorry for the delay, been on holidays.

The following is from the DHCP log straight after a failure email. I was amending a DHCP server.

Nothing in any of the other logs.

Do another DHCP server exist on the same network maybe?

I have only seen this in HA when we did UP2DATE, they made a Mantis for it and fixed it.

Hi Martin,
this has only showed up since 9.305. I am using the same configuration with minor adjustments that I have for a number of releases.

I have a number of dhcp servers on vlans, in some cases an IPv4 and an IPv6 server and others just IPv4 depending on vlan use.

Have you looked into fallback or System log at about 21:54, could be funny to see if anything was displayed here :-)

Do you run HA in this installation?

I have searched the other logs and there is nothing.

This is a home unit running in a ESXi 5.5u1 server.

Occurs about once per session working in DHCP. I cannot tell whether it is DHCPv4 or DHCPv6 which caused today's error.
Usually I only work on the DHCPv4 server.

Hi,
now I have another UTM doing the same thing.
The first UTM has IPv4 and sixxs IPv6 tunnel.
The second UTM has native IPV4 and IPv6.
