I've only seen the list of new features, Sascha, but that makes me hopeful. However, I expect that very few, if any, of my clients will see V10 before they see the fireworks displays celebrating the arrival of 2016.

Whoa...very outdated. And the "Is subject to change" is missing...
50% of the "SSG10" Features on that roadmap as selective SSL scannig, Quotas, Intel Quickassist and AC Support made it already into 9.3, SMS Auth etc. will be delivered with a 9.3x or at least 9.4 AFAIK.
Simply wait what´s coming...there´s still lot of change possible and ears for lots of wishes / requirements. Enjoy 9.3...and sometimes a 9.4 and monitor whats coming up in parallel to the UTM in 2015...[;)]
As for the Intel Quickassist, how does that work? My 8 core Atom Rangley has Intel Quickassist. Does it just take advantage of it? You are sure 9.3 has that enabled now????
