Still i remember you help me in 2012 to install asg/utm  on ubutu (i think you recommand me debian ) but it fail then i was continute to use asg/utm on vmware esxi 5.1 but last 6 months i am on ubuntu 12.04 and 14.04 and it is wowkring fine

This confuses me to no end...

You've installed the UTM on ubuntu??  How, why?

OR, do you mean you've virtualised the UTM using vbox (or similar) and your host is Ubuntu...

Yes i have installed UTM on ubuntu using kvm which is hypervisor and on same machine i have 1 more guest centos7 and i am using them concurrently on one system ,so i have installed 2 operating system and 1 utm/asg on the 1 phyiscal hardware  and it almost function same as you are on phyiscal hardware  ,don't you think it save power ,colling ,cost of hardware , and give ease of operation 
i am/was running ubuntu lts 12.04.x and 14.04 with utm/asg for almost 6 monts and have no or little problem 
no i am not using vbox (from oracle?)  on same hardware machine i have installed vmware player where i have 1 more guest but that i rarely use 

one of my friend running 20 vm on 1 physical box ,i could also run by my machine is very old was purchase in 2008 its   model name : Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU     E8400  @ 3.00GHz with 6 gb ram so i have only 2 core on cpu 


This machine is not just desktop ,i have turn this linux based machine into home enterterment center also and personal cloud

EDIT:sorry forget to mention when you are running low on hardware resources you should try this becase this save time and money ,the main reason was if i have to run utm on stand alone hardware the machine  is just like a dump , you should have should have desktop/laptop ,i was installed windows 7/8 on same hardware but now centos 7 another linux

Is KVM supported??

I normally use VMWARE ESXi 5.5, which has small footprint and no user GUI running (performance). In here you can also snapshot the UTM before running an up2date :-)
