[9.265-8][ANSWERED] DynDNS now supporting IPv6

Just noticed that there is an option for IPv6 when creating a new DynDNS entry (at least for some providers).

Ist this officially supported now?

  • Thanks, will try that.
What does "rapid commit" do? Does it solve the delayed update of the prefix after PPPoE reconnect?

No. DHCPv6 'Rapid Commit' only means that retrieving an address or prefix from a server becomes faster because less packets are exchanged. It's interesting for crowded environments with many clients but it doesn't hurt to enable it anyway.
