    I have the same problem. My NIC is an Intel Corporation 82571EB Gigabit Ethernet Controller. My UTM (Firmware version: 9.201-23) is running in a virtual machine and I passed through the dual port Gbit NIC to this VM. I disabled GSO/GRO now. I will see if it helps. The last output was before I disabled GSO/GRO.

    If it is a VMWare VM and you run VSphere 5.1 update 2 there is a confirmed bug with E1000 NICs. A patch has already been released. Just a hint [:)]

    Thank you for the tip but I am using ESXi 5.1 build 799733 which is the first release of 5.1. 
    Maybe I will try to update to the latest build from ESXi 5.1.
