[9.195][ANSWERED] Hybrid Local Content Cache?

Hi all,

There was discussion in 9.1 about the possibility of a hybrid, local content cache that could be enabled through the web GUI?  Has this happened or is this still planned?

Also in relation to the current Local content cache settings - how does it work with the new ATP? Will it look locally or does it go to the Sophos servers?

    The biggest hit with the proxy is the content filter database lookups.  There is a new sophos cloud based series of servers that helps but to speed things up some of your most used lookups get cached by the proxy...it learns the patterns over time.  There isn't a direct way to enable it per se.  right now if you simply enable endpoint protection that turns on the new sxl lookup servers and the hybrid cache for he proxy.  AFAIK there's not a direct..goto sxl servers...button yet...I don't have the full details on 9.2 though so i don't know if there's a direct toggle or if they are going to the sxl database servers by default in 9.2
