[9.193] 9.2 upgrade on hw appliances and new swap

Hello,
how will the new "swap" system interact with Hw appliances?, since i doubt an upgrade will resize partitions...
How do i take advantage of this "installer" feature on a HW appliance?, so i download the appliance ISO and install using a USB optical drive?

    yo won't as you can't change the installed ram and keep support.  For virtuals and software installs though it works.  Frankly if there's enough ram installed in the first place swap should be zero so i'm not seeing the utility of this.

    i never mentioned changing the RAM, and appliances are not known for their generous ammount of RAM(until you get into the insane expensive 500 models).
    so SWAP will NEVER be ZERO even with 8 or 16GB of RAM

    oh yes it is..[:)]  I have a 3 gig machine here with ZERO swap...stays at zero unless sophos has a code screwup.  Sophos has drastically undersized the ram requirements since the advent of v9...swapping is only a bandaid..and a leaky one at that.  The minimum ram should be 4 and each step up should at least double that amount installed.
