[9.192][NOTABUG] CS24-SC only one NIC recognized by install

For reference there are 2 ethernet ports side by side labeled 1 and 2 and another ethernet port (I assume for iLO) labled as 3. Which is odd because I was always under the impression eth labeling started with 0 unless that's just a router thing. Anyways hope this was helpful.

I purchased a Supermicro 1u 8-Core Atom server and rolled the dice I could get Sophos UTM loaded on it. It has Intel "i" series quad nics. I came from using Untangle and I watch their forum from time to time . Lucky I did, because on of the guys their sells Untangle appliances and he posted about how only 1 nic showed up when installing Untangles 10.XX series OS on "i" series Intel nics. He said just keep going through the install and then go back to enable the nics.

When I installed 9.2 Beta on my 8-Core I only had one nic showing after the complete install. I have my Sophos UTM in bridge mode and the minute I linked the bridge, the other nics fired up like a Xmas tree and linked together and I was up and running!!

Hi, the lspci files in the install.zip only show 1 NIC. Normally, those files will have all the NICs, even if the UTM doesn't have a driver module.

Are you SURE the second NIC is enabled and working? 
i.e. have you tested it in another OS?

I don't know nearly as much as you guys about this so maybe I tried the wrong thing, but I went to Interfaces & Routing > Bridging and tried to turn it on, and selected the internal interface (it only shows one of course) and tried to confirm the settings but the error 

"The ethernet standard interface object may not have an empty interface hardware attribute."

shows up, basically telling me it didn't work because the software only sees one NIC right?

If Ubuntu does see multiple NICs, run the following commands in a shell and upload the output as text files:
lspci -tv
lspci -vvx
lspci -vvxn
