Scenario.
Existing setup
2 APs, an AP50 and AP10 on the same SSID with 2.4 and 5ghz enabled.
Thought I would try to improve the performance of the AP50 by making it 5ghz only, which I did.
Saved the new configuration of the AP50, no errors everything appears to be working well. On Monday my son says the wireless network has been acting strange causing his iPad and iPhone to drop connections since Wednesday.
Strange, that was when I changed the AP50 settings, physically checked the AP10, lights still flash indicating it is a live.
Checked the configuration of the AP10 on the UTM, go to save the configuration and receive an error about the AP10 not being able to be part of the SSID because it doesn't have 5ghz capability.
So you say where is the bug, well the bug is being able to save a change to the SSID which put one of the APs off line through not having a feature without any warnings about the missing feature or incompatibility with the SSID configuration.
