[9.192][ANSWERED] No SPX Encryption possible in V. 9.192-8 ?

Hello,

the "easy" SPX Encryption doesn't work for me.

- UTM120
- V. 9.192-8 from Friday 2014-01-17

I've installed the Outlook-Plugin. Nothing works und nothing is in the smtp-Logfile or other relevant Logfiles.

In Thunderbird I've set a costum Mailheader for test (mailnews.customHeaders -> X-Sophos-SPX-Encrypt: yes) and also nothing happens.

I've got also a failure message in the Mail Manager as follows:
"Perl runtime error calling qm::smtp_quarantine: Can't use an undefined value as an ARRAY reference at /DBI.pm line 2064."

So, i shutdown now... to many hours on sunday at console

Is it possible that the SPX-Feature only works in environments with an internal Mailserver and the UTM as Mail-Relay? I've testet with an external Mailserver and only internal Clients (SMTP, IMAP).

I think the error applies to the mail manager failure in this release and is being worked on by the astrobot.

That's the usual scenario, yes.
Internal Mailserver is optional, as long as you use the UTM as smarthost/relay to send your messages.

I have set the entry mail.compose.other.header with the Value X-Sophos-SPX-Encrypt. If I want to encrypt an email, I will choose X-Sophos-SPX-Encrypt: at the To:-field and type yes as address. This will work fine for me. So I can decide if I want encrypt an email or not.
