[9.191][ANSWERED] No PFS for OpenVPN ?

Hi,

1. Please always post the exact version of the UTM release or beta you are running, e.g. 9.191

2. is this a feature that was previously working for you in an earlier version? if so, which one?

3. is this feature missing in Web Admin, or in the VPN client?
if in the client, which OS are you using?

Firmware I am running now version: 9.191-2.

Feature is missing in the Web Admin.

OS is IOS 5.1.1 OpenVPN Connect  1.0 on iPad 3.

I do not remember prior version but it was 9.1. 

I may have to reload the non Beta version to see for sure tho.

Hi, I don't see that as an option in 9.106.
AES choices are all AES-nnn-CBC.

The only other issue I am having is trying to setup Full tunnel SSL VPN. I forgot how to set that up. [[:)]]

By Full Tunnel, do you mean you want the VPN client's traffic to the Internet to go through the UTM also? 
If so, I believe you need to put 'Internet IPv4' in the Local Networks on the UTM's SSL VPN settings.

Hi Bigdaddy-

I don't think perfect forward secrecy has ever been an option with ASG/UTM SSL VPNs, if you really need PFS, you'll need to go to IPSec.

Of course, going with IPSec means choosing between the known issues of SSL/TLS and the unknowns of IPSec (due to its complexity).

I noticed in the SSL VPN live log that that the UTM 9 utilizes TLS 1.0. 
Any chance that TLS 1.2 will at least be added some time soon ?
 
As it stands right now is UTM 9.1 or 9.2 vulnerable to the following attacks against TLS 1.0. BEAST attack, CRIME and BREACH attacks ?

Hi, BEAST & CRIME are BROWSER-Based TLS exploits, so they're not relevant to a VPN.

Also, all the major browsers have already been patched or had workarounds applied.

Is there a way to pass all IP traffic Full Tunnel to IPsec or Cisco IPsec like you can with L2TP over IPsec on a iPad 3 with IOS 5.1.1 ?
